This is a classic accessory that we wanted to develop to have one dedicated exclusively to the Tuareg and our needs.
The tray create in 3D printing ( made of PETG) fits perfectly in the solid aluminum support plate and effectively holds and protects the electrical connections, the license plate is adjustable in three positions to be road legal in the EU (max 30°) and also to suit other legislation or needs.
Unlike the prototype, pictured, the final product reuses the original reflector: practical and legal.
But what we are particularly proud of is the possibility in less then 10 seconds to completely remove the bracket holding the license plate without any tools, and thus protect it from damage typical of the most demanding off-road sessions, or a visit to the enduro park or wild rounds on the cross track.
We tested it both on tour, on the TET in Sweden and the long transfers to get there and back, and in everyday life between traffic, escapades in the woods and “urban enduro” sessions: it proved itself to be practical and solid and will therefore stay on our beloved Tuaregs!
